Embraer and Nidec Corporation announced in 2023 an agreement to create a company to develop electric motors for eVTOLs. The new company, named Nidec Aerospace, was introduced at the 54th edition of the Paris Air Show and aims to combine Embraer’s aviation experience with the Japanese company’s electric motors.
