Embraer will showcase portfolio of innovative solutions at LAAD Defence & Security 2025

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, March 25, 2025 – Embraer (NYSE: ERJ/B3: EMBR3), a global leader in the aerospace industry, will showcase its portfolio of defense aircraft and solutions at LAAD Defence & Security 2025, the largest and most important defense exhibition in Latin America. The event, now in its 15th edition, will take place at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, April 01-04.

Since entering service with the Brazilian Air Force in 2019, the Portuguese Air Force in 2023 and, most recently the Hungarian Air Force in 2024, the KC-390 Millennium multi-mission military aircraft has proven its capability, reliability and performance. The current global fleet of KC-390 Millennium aircraft presents mission completion rates exceeding 99%, demonstrating exceptional productivity in its segment.

 

This game-changer aircraft has been selected by 10 Air Forces worldwide, including many NATO members. Most recently, Sweden and Slovakia selected the Embraer KC-390 Millennium as their new tactical transport aircraft. To date, the KC-390 has been contracted by Brazil, Portugal, Hungary, South Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, and an undisclosed customer.

 

With over 290 orders from 20 Air Forces and more than 580,000 flight hours, including 60,000 in combat, the A-29 Super Tucano is the global leader in its category. This advanced aircraft provides outstanding operational efficiency and a wide range of missions such as close air support, air patrol, special operations, air interdiction, JTAC, forward air controller (FAC), air and tactical coordinator (TAC), Armed ISR, border surveillance, reconnaissance, air escort, basic, operational and advanced training, transition to air superiority fighters, JTAC/LIFT and FAC training.

 

In 2024, Embraer announced new sales of the Super Tucano to the Portuguese Air Force (A-29N), the NATO version of the aircraft, as well as to the Uruguayan Air Force, the Paraguayan Air Force and two additional undisclosed customers.

 

Atech, Visiona Tecnologia Espacial, and Águas Azuis, which are part of the Embraer Defense & Security solutions portfolio, will also be represented at the event.
